COACHE Steering Committee 2020-21

Contact: Office of the Provost
Holly Hutchins, Vice Provost for Faculty Success

Under the purview of the Office of the Provost, UNT periodically participates in a survey of faculty job satisfaction called the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE). This survey has been managed by the Harvard Graduate School of Education since 2003. COACHE surveys have been administered at UNT in 2009, 2012, and during the spring of 2018. COACHE results allow UNT to assess its progress in a number of areas over time, as well as allowing an opportunity to compare itself with similar and aspirational institutions. The COACHE Steering Committee is charged with creating and implementing a plan for communicating with UNT faculty before and during the survey administration. In addition, the committee is tasked with considering survey results and making recommendations to the Provost for policy and other changes based upon them. The committee is re-appointed periodically in preparation for future administrations of the survey, with the next survey anticipated to be released in spring 2021. For additional information, please visit the COACHE survey information site.

This is a committee administered by the Office of the Provost/Academic Affairs.  The Faculty Senate tracks only those members appointed by the Faculty Senate.  For a list of all members or additional information concerning the function of this committee, please visit the Office of the Provost's website.
