The Faculty Senate and the Committee on the Evaluation of Administrators encourage faculty to make their voices heard through an annual anonymous evaluation of all administrators. Evaluations play an important role in assessing day-to-day performance of administrators and with regard to issues/decisions requiring faculty feedback.
College-level and select senior administrators in their positions for at least six months are evaluated.
To insure transparency, the Faculty Senate Evaluation Committee edits faculty comments only in the case of offensive/foul language. Generally, all responses received are reported. Responses to the surveys' numerical questions and statistical data are accessible to the UNT community and the general public. Faculty comments are provided only to the administrator(s) in question and to the provost.
